In our founder’s footsteps
Brodie Group’s ethos centers around the remarkable life of our founder, Steve Brodie. His passion for the built environment spanned five decades, a steadfast journey marked by dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to clients, which continues to resonate across our organization today.
In 1997, Steve founded Brodie based on the profound understanding that a gap existed between construction projects and clients. He saw the need for a company that placed clients at the core, providing them with guidance, navigation, and support, all while remaining informed and knowledgeable about the build process. Under Steve’s leadership, Brodie quickly became an industry leader in the Bay Area and beyond. Steve was not just a leader; he was a master builder, a cherished friend and mentor, whether on-site, in the office, or sailing across the world.
In January 2020, we faced an irreplaceable loss with the passing of Steve Brodie. While there are countless physical monuments to Steve’s legacy, his spirit continues to live on in the hearts and minds of those he interacted with and remains at the core of Brodie’s ongoing growth and success.
