Campus-Wide Green Building Standards
Collaborate with SCU’s Facilities Department and Center for Sustainability to create a set of achievable “Green Building Standards” to be achieved across new construction and retrofit projects.
Campus-Wide Energy Master Planning
Vet renewable energy projects for viability and create pathways to implementation for efficiency retrofits with the goal of reducing campus energy use intensity by 35% over a 15 year period. Interface with local AHJs to explore and access local, state, and federal incentives for building efficiency.
Residence Hall LED Lighting Upgrades
Managed the permitting, construction, and rebate process for LED lighting upgrades across four residence halls, the campus dining hall, bookstore, and accessory structures, totalling over 250,000sf and more than 1,000 individual spaces.
Reclaimed Water Connection
Managed redesign efforts, and cross connection testing and repairs, throughout campus to achieve connection to the municipal reclaimed water system, eliminating reliance on potable water for irrigation.
Cape Eleuthera Island School
Sustainable Faculty Housing
Provide design guidance to improve the efficiency and quality of a faculty housing development, balanced with constraints due to location and climate. Sizing solar and battery systems to enable off-grid applications.
St. Helena, CA
Sustainable Vineyard Residence with Off-Grid Capability
Led sustainable design charrettes with the design team, builder, and client to enable efficient, cost-effective, and low-carbon elements throughout the project. Manage the design of the commercial scale solar and battery system.
Lafayette, CA / St. Helena, CA / San Francisco, CA / Loudoun, VA
Solar + Battery Storage Installations
Manage the design, installation, and commissioning of commercially-sized solar and storage systems for private estates. Provide clients with detailed operating instructions and recommendations to optimize system performance and ROI.
